From Little Creek Outfitters:

“The Deschutes River offers some of the best dry line Steelhead fly fishing in the country. Enriched in tradition and lore this river is an experience all Steelhead anglers that strive for a soulful approach should enjoy. Our techniques shadow all the traditional aspects of swinging flies for Steelhead. This is the perfect river to chase Steelhead with a spey fly rod, a floating line (in shade), and traditional fly. The river is designed just right for holding fish in the perfect zone of a properly presented fly.”

Maupin Deschutes Riverfront Retreat:
This cozy house is located on the east bank of the Deschutes River at the junction of Hwy 197 and the upstream Deschutes River access road, just one-half mile upstream from the Deschutes River bridge. The house is just 30 feet above the river bank – one of only three homes in Maupin directly on the river!  Open the windows and the sound of the river roars through the house!  The house is extremely well equipped to make your stay on the river complete – with the best deck on the Deschutes – you will never want to leave!

All meals are included. We’ll fuel you up for an active day on the river with a hearty breakfast, catching up with fellow anglers and guides over a wonderful river picnic lunch, and you’ll wind down with dinner and a drink. We always provide as much local food as possible, and we welcome you to the table like family!
