Booking your next Patagonia Fly Fishing trip:
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm reservations; final payment is due 90 days prior.
- Payments can be made via credit card (3% fee), ACH ($15 fee), or check.
- Early bookings (12+ months) allow for installment payments: 25/25/50.
Set Fly Fishing Travel Coordination Service:
- The team handles invoicing, payments, and inquiries.
- Additional services include booking international and domestic flights, and arranging ground transfers.
- A guest experience form is provided to gather preferences and requirements.
Cancellation Policy:
- “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) coverage is recommended for maximum protection.
- Cancellations must be notified via email; no replacement fee for finding a replacement traveler.
- Credit can be used for rebooking within 24 months, transferable to another angler.
- Cancellation fees range from 35% to 100% based on the notice period before the trip

🧳 Travel & Safety — Argentina (Patagonia)
Your comfort and peace of mind are a top priority for us. Patagonia and Argentina are beautiful, welcoming parts of the world, but it’s important to be well-prepared before you go.
🇦🇷 New Travel Health Insurance Requirement
As part of Argentina’s updated immigration policies, all foreign visitors are now required to have valid travel medical insurance for the entire duration of their stay in Argentina. This requirement went into effect in mid-2025 and applies to visitors regardless of nationality or trip purpose.
Your insurance should include, at a minimum:
• Medical care and hospitalization
• Emergency medical assistance
• Medical evacuation and repatriation
You may be asked to show proof of this insurance at check-in with your airline and/or at Argentina immigration upon arrival at Buenos Aires (EZE) or domestic airports. Failing to provide proof could result in being denied entry.
Pro tip: Carry printed and digital copies of your insurance policy showing your name, coverage dates, and medical benefits.
🏥 Why This Matters
Medical care in Argentina can be excellent—but out-of-pocket costs for visitors can be high without coverage. Insurance protects you from unexpected medical costs and ensures you can be cared for quickly and effectively if you need it.
Even outside of the entry requirement, travel health insurance with coverage for evacuation and repatriation is strongly recommended for remote destinations like Patagonia.

A Sample Day in Patagonia
No two days are exactly the same in Patagonia—and that’s part of the magic. But here’s what a typical day might look like, whether you’re at Rakin Lodge or Spring Creek Lodge.
You’ll wake to fresh coffee, quiet skies, and the promise of another beautiful day on the water. Breakfast is relaxed and nourishing, giving you time to ease into the morning and gather your gear.
After meeting your guide, you’ll head out—either walking and wading remote stretches of river at Rakin or floating miles of stunning water by raft at Spring Creek. Days are unhurried, with time to focus on technique, enjoy the scenery, and truly settle into the rhythm of the river.
Midday often includes a riverside lunch—simple, delicious, and shared in good company. There’s time to laugh, stretch, swap stories, and soak in where you are.
Afternoons bring more fishing, new water, and new chances—maybe a dry fly moment you’ll never forget, maybe a long drift through wide open country, maybe a quiet bend of river that feels like it belongs only to you.
Back at the lodge, you’ll shower, relax, and gather for cocktails, wine, and appetizers. Dinner is warm, generous, and full of conversation. Evenings are for storytelling, laughter, and that deep, satisfying tiredness that only comes from a full day outside.
